Sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned on your wedding day, but when you have a great team of vendors that will work together to create your perfect day no matter the circumstances, you end up with a wonderful wedding day and some great stories along the way.
Austin and Brooke envisioned an outdoor reception at Travellers’ Rest under the gorgeous Magnolia trees, but Mother Nature had other plans. After everything was almost completely set up for a gorgeous reception (and just an hour before guests were to arrive), word comes through that a severe thunderstorm is on the way and it’s going to rain for hours. All the vendors jumped in to get everything moved into the barn for dinner and dancing in a dryer environment. By the time guests arrived, it was almost as if this had been the plan all along.
While it was the work of her vendors to make adjustments due to the weather, the vision was all Brooke. The bride, along with family and friends, created and included lots of little details for the wedding from a popcorn bar with Garret’s popcorn from their hometown of Chicago, to wearing crowns during their toasts. Her choice of color palette worked beautifully and created a warm and elegant feel to the entire event.
Austin and Brooke and their family and friends had a great time dancing the night away, and didn’t let a little rain ruin a truly Royal affair.
