Last November we had the pleasure of getting to be part of Kelly and Jim’s wedding day. They are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet, and it was truly a joy getting to spend this special day with them. Even scattered showers throughout the day couldn’t dampen the palpable joy surrounding this amazing couple. Kelly and Jim opted for a first look at Percy Warner Park, and it was beautiful. Even from 20 yards away you could see the joy on Jim’s face when he saw Kelly in her dress for the first time. After a few quiet moments together, they had fun taking photos with all the members of their wedding party against the amazing backdrop of the changing fall leaves. The ceremony and reception were held at Loveless Barn. The possibilities are endless in the space, and they opted to keep things bright and elegant with pops of yellow and teal, simple draping and a crystal chandelier. The weather held long enough for Jim and Kelly to say their vows in a simple outdoor ceremony. Fortunately, we opted for family photos on the covered porch, because less than 15 minutes after the ceremony, the downpour we had been expecting arrived. Loveless provided delicious food for the evening including a biscuit bar with a variety of toppings that was a huge hit. The DJ kept the dance floor full and the guests entertained until late into the evening when Kelly and Jim left to begin their life as Mr. and Mrs. Deraney in a classic Rols Royce to the cheers of friends and family waving sparklers!
