Jill and Zach were such a joy to work with throughout the entire planning process. The thoughtfulness they both put into every detail of their wedding weekend was apparent. From their venue choice of W.O. Smith School of Music, which they chose in part because it is a school and they are both educators, to the littlest details, the couple’s personality was clear in every aspect of their wedding day.
Jill and Zach didn’t want a traditional wedding ceremony and reception, so we worked with them to create an atmosphere and experience that showcased their love for one another and their guests. Jill LOVES color, as is apparent in her unique and gorgeous wedding dress, and wanted to incorporate as much color as possible into the wedding décor without making it feel like a birthday party. We pulled in many colors from her dress for the flower choices. The colors blended together beautifully against neutral linens and the light wood of the recital hall at W.O. Smith to bring a vibrancy to the space.
The couple chose to stand with just their officiant at their wedding altar and as soon as the “I Do’s” were said they greeted each guest as they released them to the cocktail hour. If you want to make sure you see every guest at your wedding we highly recommend doing what they did. It makes each guest feel special and appreciated for attending your special day.
When your surname is Fox….you should really have fun with it when you can on your wedding day. The couple incorporated cute touches of foxes where they could throughout the day. Jill sported fox covered leggings while getting ready; a fox adorned their seating chart; and guests were treated to koozies with an adorable fox on them as favors.
Thank you Jill and Zach for letting Details by Margaret be a part of your special day. It is one we definitely won’t soon forget!
