Katie and Coley are a couple that truly embody the word partnership! Through the entire planning process they made every decision together and it was apparent how strong their bond was from our very first meeting. Planning from out of town (they live in Delaware now, but Katie is originally from Franklin, TN) meant lots of over the phone meetings and trips into town, but every time we got together they were a joy to work with and we LOVED helping bring their vision to life.
They wanted to treat their guests, most of whom came from various locations around the country for their special day, to a truly Nashville experience. The uniqueness of Nelson’s Greenbrier Distillery was the perfect backdrop for their elegant affair. The industrial chic feel of the space worked perfectly with the navy, gold, and blush color palette they chose. The transformation of the space with the lighting, draping, and floral design was amazing and exactly what Katie and Coley had envisioned. Dinner was southern with a twist, the cocktails were all made with local produced spirits, and tastings from the products made at the distillery were offered to guests throughout the evening, so everyone got a little taste of Nashville as they celebrated the union of these two wonderful people. After the reception, many of the guests took a trip downtown to some of the honky tonks. How fun! Katie & Coley, thank you for choosing Details by Margaret to be a part of your big day!
