Lorene + Jason | Halloween-Inspired Wedding

October 18, 2017

When you get married on the Saturday before Halloween, how do you incorporate the holiday while still keeping your reception classy and family friendly? For a tutorial, take a look at the wedding of Lorene and Jason on October 28, 2016. They love Halloween so they wanted to add a little Halloween flair to their family-oriented ceremony and reception.

Lorene and Jason came into the planning process knowing what was important to them for their wedding day, and they were able to create a perfect day that celebrated their love of family, food, and fun! It was all of the little details that really made their day special and represented who they are as a couple.

They included pumpkins in their décor from ceremony to reception and used vibrant fall colors for their floral inspiration. Once the “I Do’s” were complete the fun began with lawn games around the property during cocktail hour. After cocktail hour, the party moved inside the barn at Travellers Rest for a festive family style dinner. Each table was complete with dishes of Halloween candy as well as a masquerade mask to wear and take as a favor. A coffee cart, delicious family style meal, and gorgeous fall themed cake show cased the couple’s foodie side, while Annie Sellick and her band kept guests moving and singing along through the evening to her smooth tunes.
